In the app
- Go to Profile and tap Settings.
- Under Leaving Maltayard, tap Delete account.
- Read what goes and what stays, then tap Delete my account.
- Tap Delete my account again to confirm.
On the website
You can also do it at maltayard.com/delete-account, with your phone number and a code we send by SMS. You do not need the app.
Seven days to change your mind
Your account is deleted seven days after you ask. As soon as you ask, we sign you out on every phone and send you an SMS with the date. Until then, nobody can see your profile or your listings.
If you sign in before that date, your account stays as it was.
What goes and what stays
Your profile, your listings, your chats and your saved searches go. Reviews you wrote stay, without your name. The Delete account page in the app lists the rest, and our privacy notice explains what we keep and why.
