Change your phone number or email

Your phone numbers

Your account can hold two numbers: one Maltese mobile and one from any country. The Maltese one is your main number. Offers, messages, listings and our texts use it. The other one only signs you in.

1. Go to Profile and tap Your details.
2. Under Phone numbers, tap the row to see both.
3. Tap Change next to a number, or Add a Maltese number or Add a number in an empty slot.
4. Type the new number and enter the code we send.

When you change a number, the old one keeps working until the new one is confirmed.

Removing a number

• Your only number cannot be removed. You can change it.
• If you remove your Maltese number, your open offers and chats close and your listings come down. We ask you first. Adding a Maltese number later does not reopen them.

A number can be on one Maltayard account only.

Your email

1. Go to Profile, then Settings, and tap Email.
2. Type the address and tap Send code.
3. Enter the six-digit code we email you.

Your email address is never shown to others.
