Reviews: who writes them and when they show

Only the two people in a sale review each other. Both show when both have written, or after 12 days.

Updated 30 October 2026

Who can review

Only the buyer and the seller of a sale made through Maltayard. A sale is recorded when the seller marks the listing sold and picks the buyer, or when the buyer answers Got it? in a chat with an accepted offer.

The buyer can always review. The seller can review the buyer after accepting their offer, or once the buyer confirms the sale.

Write a review

  1. Tap Leave a review. You find it in the chat, on the listing, in Profile under Your reviews, and in your notifications.
  2. Pick one, two or three things that happened.
  3. Add a sentence or two if you want.
  4. Tap Send it.

When reviews show

Neither review shows until both of you have written, or until 12 days have passed. That way nobody writes theirs by looking at yours.

Until your review opens, you can edit it or withdraw it. Once it opens, it can no longer be changed.

Reviews about you

You can reply once to each review about you. A reply cannot be edited after you post it. If a review breaks our rules, report it instead.
