Selling and listings

List something

Take photos, pick a category, set a price and say where you are.

Updated 30 October 2026

Before you start

Selling needs a confirmed Maltese mobile number on your account. You also confirm, once, that you are selling as a private individual, not as a business.

List it in five steps

  1. Tap Sell, then Take photos or Choose from your photos. You can add up to 10 photos. The first one is the cover.
  2. Write a title and set a price. To give it away, type 0 and tick Free. A description is optional.
  3. Pick the category. We suggest one from your photos: tap Use this category if it is right, or choose another. If none fits, you can suggest one.
  4. Answer what the category asks, such as the condition, and confirm your locality.
  5. Check everything and tap Publish.

When you tap Publish, Maltayard may check once that you are in Malta or Gozo. Your location is never shared or kept.

After you publish

Every new listing goes through an automated check first. Most go up as soon as it is done, and we send you a message when yours is live. A listing stays up for 60 days.

A few rules

  • Photos of the item itself, not a picture from a catalogue.
  • One listing for each item, and it must be yours to sell.
  • No phone number in the words or in the photos.
