What it means
We found something in your listing that needs a change. Until it is fixed, buyers cannot see the listing. The notice says what was found, whether a person or the automated check found it, and gives a reference.
A photo
If a photo has a phone number in it:
- Open the notice.
- Tap Replace the photo and take or choose a new one, or tap Remove it. The only photo of a listing can be replaced, not removed.
The listing then goes back to review.
The words
If it is the title or the description, a person on our team reads it. You do not have to wait: tap Edit listing, change it, and it goes back to review.
How long you have
A listing on hold is removed after 30 days.
When an edit is sent back
If we send back a change you made to a live listing, the listing stays up as it was and buyers can still reach you through chat. Edit it again and it goes back to review.
If you think it is wrong
Tap Ask us to look again on the notice, or raise a request in Help. A person on our team reads it.
