Why a listing is no longer here

It sold, the seller removed it, or it was taken down. We do not say which.

Updated 30 October 2026

What you see

When a listing has gone, Maltayard shows This listing is no longer here. It reads the same on the listing and in a chat.

Why a listing goes

  • It sold.
  • The seller removed it.
  • Its time ran out. A listing stays up for 60 days unless the seller renews it.
  • It was taken down because it broke our rules.

Why we do not say which

The reason often has nothing to do with you, and it is not ours to share. So every listing that has gone gets the same words.

What you can do

  • Save a search for the same thing. We tell you when something new matches it.
  • If you already wrote to the seller, your chat is still in Chats.
