Pay in person
Maltayard has no payment step and never holds money for either of you. You and the other person agree in the chat how you will pay, such as cash or a bank transfer, and the money changes hands when you meet.
No delivery
There is no shipping or courier on Maltayard. The buyer and the seller meet to hand the item over.
When you meet
- Look at the item in good light and check it works.
- Pay only once you have seen it and are happy with it.
- If you are selling and the buyer pays by transfer, check the money has arrived before you hand the item over.
Watch out for
- Anyone who asks for money before you meet.
- A link that asks for your card details. No money moves through Maltayard, so a link like that is a scam.
- Card or bank details in a chat. Keep them to yourself.
