Sharing your phone number in a chat

Your number stays hidden

Nobody sees your phone number unless you share it in a chat. You do not need to share it to buy or sell: the chat is enough to agree a price, a place and a time.

Share it

1. Open the chat.
2. Open the chat menu and tap Share my phone number.
3. Confirm. Your number appears in the chat.

Only your Maltese number is shared. If you also have a number from another country on your account, it is never shown to anyone.

Before you share

Once shared, your number cannot be taken back. The other person can see it and keep it.
